Bath updates can get pretty complex, some of the bigger options require plumbing expertise that not everyone is ready to tackle. If you are thinking about upgrading your bathroom but not a full-scale remodel, there are a number of things you can do in a weekend.
Faucets
If you are patient and handy with basic plumbing tools, you can upgrade your bath faucets in a couple of hours. Just be sure you are replacing your current faucet with the same configuration. If possible, bring pictures of your current faucet (from the top, and if possible the bottom from inside the cabinet) when you come into John’s Lumber, so we can help you select a new faucet that will fit.
Fixtures
The fastest upgrade of all is a change to bath fixtures like the toothbrush holder, soap holder, towel holder and toilet paper holder. You can update your look in just a few minutes.
Cabinets & Countertops
A full cabinet and countertop remodel is a bigger project, but can be done rather quickly in most bathrooms if you are not moving plumbing. New cabinetry can provide a whole different look and feel and make the entire room feel more current and fresh. It also can provide more useful storage possibilities than older cabinetry making it much more functional.
Whether you want to do minor touchups or a full bathroom remodel, John’s Lumber designers can help you get the most out of your bathroom. Contact us or stop by our Clinton Twp. or Shelby Twp. locations.
