Estimating/Blueprint Takeoffs
Johns Lumber provides accurate blue print take off services. Using a state of the art, computer aided take off system, nothing is overlooked. This thorough process starts from the ground up. Reviewing foundation plans, verifying beam locations to ensure proper sizing of floor framing members. Detailed cad drawings map out the installation process of all engineered I-joist floor systems. Wall frame construction is reviewed for proper wall heights and sheathing material. Special consideration is given when reviewing for window & door openings to properly size header materials. All components are engineered for proper roof & floor loads for industry specifications. These are just of few steps involved in the take off process. From your blue print our experienced staff can generate a comprehensive list of material to complete your project.
Delivery
John’s Lumber offers delivery service of all materials. With our fleet of trucks, we can offer jobsite delivery, some with truck mounted lift trucks, we can place material in the most efficient place on your jobsite where applicable, thus eliminating the time consuming and expensive job of moving material at the site. We pride ourselves on accurate deliveries, on time, and where you want them. Upon request, we can breakup deliveries into stages, thereby reducing jobsite theft. We understand the importance of getting the material to the job accurately and on time.
Job site pickups
John’s Lumber understands material pickups from jobsites and how they can affect your business. Material left on the jobsite too long can disappear or become useless by the elements, costing every one. We offer timely pickups of stocked material, insuring material is off your jobsite and returned for credit when applicable.
Store Charge Accounts
Most contractors/builders got into the business because they love building things, not for the paperwork associated with the business. John’s Lumber offers in store charge accounts, so you can pay your bill once a month, not every time you need material. At the end of each month, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown of what material was used on each job, allowing you to keep track of expenses on a per job basis. A copy of every receipt is included, broken down by job address. Keeping track of what was used where has never been easier.
